Dr. Louise Batt, BVSc, MRCVS

Dr. Louise Batt was born and raised in England. She came to the U.S. after she attended vet school and moved to beautiful Steamboat Springs in 2012. She founded High Country Vet Services (HCVS) in 2013. Since then she has built her practice to serve the horses and livestock of the area, as well as her clients, with compassion and her expertise. 


Dr. Taylor Karlin, DVM

Dr. Taylor Karlin was born in Colorado Springs, but spent much of her childhood living in Steamboat and Maryland. Owning and showing horses in Western Pleasure stemmed her interest in veterinary medicine. She attended the University of South Carolina and received a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She then returned to Colorado for veterinary school and graduated from Colorado State University. In her free time, you will find Taylor outdoors skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking.


Brooke Dare, Practice Manager 

Brooke was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She attend CSU Denver where she got her Bachelors in Business & Communications. She brings lots of experience in administrative work along with marketing & customer service. In her free time, you will find her hanging with her feline best friend, snowboarding, traveling, hiking, and exploring!


Millie Delaney, Vet Tech

Millie was born and raised in Colorado. She graduated from CSU with her degree in Animal Science. Growing up, Millie always had a passion for working with animals. When the opportunity to work as a vet tech arose, she quickly jumped on the opportunity. In her free time, you will find her hanging with her animals (including her best friend Miss Piggy) baking, making coffee, and any outdoor activities that fit the season!


Sarah Myers, Vet Tech

Sarah was born in Pennsylvania & grew up in Michigan where she attended Oakland University graduating with a B.S. in Biological Science. She has always had a love for animals, especially horses which she has been working and training with since the age of 11. Outside of work she loves to go camping, spend time with her two horses, hiking with her dogs, and snowboard of snowshoe in the Winter.
